| Playa Cofi is located in the northern coastline of Vieques, west of the ferry dock. The old cemetery is on a small hill overlooking Playa Cofi. The beach used to be sandier but seems that the abandoned barge stuck on its shore is causing a shift of sand volume to the east of the barge while the west side is getting depleted. As a result, you can find artifacts that were previously buried in the sand. This could be broken tiles, pieces of ceramics and such. |
