Our villas (Casa Redonda and Casa Triangular) have the largest studio lofts on Vieques and are dramatically sited on a gentle rolling hillside, La Colina del Sol (The Hill of the Sun). These seven idyllic loft retreats rest on twelve acres of wooded land in the quiet tranquil Pilon district that attracts birds and butterflies. Our studio lofts are unique indoor/outdoor living adventures, night theaters under intoxicating star-filled skies. The spectacular pool has beautiful vistas of the sea to the palm lined beaches minutes away. We have a small gift/tuc shop and a meeting /yoga studio.

The lofts enjoy refreshing trade winds and have kitchens, outdoor shower courts and private patios with dramatic panoramic views of the Caribbean; perfect places to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. You can see for 50 miles.

Ecology is important at Hix Island House. Solar panels augment the electricity and hot water. Water is collected in back up cisterns. Your shower and basins flow to guavas, bananas, papayas, lemons; giving back to Nature.
